The Blue Jays are a unique team with a unique fan base -- we're the only team in Major League Baseball to play in Canada, and the only non-American team in history to win the World Series. Blue Jays fans support our team. We became the first Major League club ever to draw over four million fans in one season, and we did it three times.

I dont know how many more times i can watch Grilli come in and serve up runs to lose a game.

Somehow I think management and players aren’t on the same page. Something is wrong.

What a disaster!! Season is going to be a LONG one. Rogers Centre will be empty in a month!

This team is turning out to be a wreck! Every player swinging for the fence! No one trying to adjust, trying to go opposite field. Morales leads the team with HR and he has 3!!! Time to rethink GM and Manager

I was so excited to watch Blue Jays ball all summer……now I am just morbidly curious to see how high the flames get from this Dumpster fire.

Thanks Morales for getting me 7and a half points for my fantasy team. So far, you are the only one in the batting lineup worth anything.

They are professionals. I have no doubt that they will keep on working hard, staying positive and good things will happen. GO JAYS! I will be attending 4 of the 7 games in the state of Texas in 2017 regardless of what place they are in when they hit Arlington in June and Houston in August!

Gibbons should have been gone after last year ….No way Grilli loads the bases and then faces Betts with any other manager in charge…. Also ….Travis go to AAA and spring train …then come back when the rust is off and you can hit ….

It’s hard to watch…as a fan I want to cheer, and do but, looking at the guys play, it’s obvious to see they’ve given up. When they face adversity, there is no heart on this roster really and they’re paid well to perform. Very disappointing so far aside from a couple of bright spots (Morales, Pillar and some pitching)…Bautista’s looking completely washed up and holy s#*t Salty! What on earth are these guys swinging at!

It was a back and forth affair this afternoon in front of 44 thousand students and teachers but yet they go home dissappointed as the jays drop this one to the red soxs. The pitching was the story all game long as Estrada and Sale went to war until that pitching duel came to an end when the jays and sox scored 1 run each in the 9th. Grilli was completely off today and his command was inconsistent and he coughed up a big hit from Betts that ended it. My pick for Jays star of the game today is Estrada as he pitched beautifully for 6 innings in the defeat. The jays now embark on a 2 city, 7 game road trip through Anaheim and St Louis before returing to Toronto next friday when the rays come to town for a series next weekend.

*sigh* Estrada pitched a gem. Such a shame we lost. Silver lining is that it won’t tarnish Estrada’s W/L record. But Bautista man….with the golden sombrero it puts him at 20K’s for 64 PA’s with one RBI….one.????????. The math looking forward is increasingly grim. I’ll still watch and cheer., Win or lose but it’s disconcerting and increasingly frustrating.

Season ticket holders are falling too because of the lack of extras… there used to be tons of good things as a season ticket holder. Now we all pay more, get less, and the team is in a tough spot. Just like STHs…

Jays are now paying for AA selling his soul to the baseball devil. I hear a lot of Shapiro bashing but AA emptied the cupboard for a quick shot at glory. Now that glory is old and slow or just gone and it’s time for a restock. The Yankees have finally figured it out and they look great for the future as they’ve built through the system. There are some nice pieces to build on in TO but reality is it’s time to rebuild. There’s a lot of trade bait on this team for other teams who think they have a shot so don’t be surprised if JD, Tulo, Liriano, and possibly another pitcher are all wearing different uniforms come September. I’d trade Bautista in a heartbeat but nobody wants him!

More of the same….this team and this manager have NEVER been able to win close games….their record on games when they score 3 runs or less is terrible compared to the better teams.

That’s what happens when you getting rid of Anthopoulos who built this team. Upper management has single Handedly destroyed the morale of this team. Just look at last season they made the post season by the skin of their teeth. I just hope they make the rest of the season a little more entertaining. Go Jays Go!

GRRR-REALLY?! And Gubba, did you really thing Grilli was going to get past Betts after loading the bases with a couple walks…Grrr-Really?!

Maybe if Gibbons didn’t leave Grilli in too long we could have won. If it were an occasional thing I could let it go but he consistently leaves pitchers in too long when they’re struggling. Add that to the fact that the lineups are suspect and you’ve got to wonder why he has a job, let alone a contract extension. He is a sub par manager.

What should we be expecting ?? Rogers is a joke, dumb and dumber from Cleveland didn’t address left field, 1st base or an already week bullpen during the off season. They called a 3.5 million dollar option on a 40 year old bullpen arm a ” no brainer ” … Sorry but the no brainers are actually running the front office… brutal ownership and a horrible job of gathering talent for the manager and his coaches to work with …

Everything would have been fine if they had a real manager and won it all the past two seasons but apparently Gibbons gets a pass on everything.

It was a well pitched game, good game until poor Grilli was left to long you could see he was struggling why leave him Gibson should have pulled him after the two were on base, and hoped the next Pictish could have got the third man out might have been a different out come. This is just my opinion on the game

This is just a bad team this year. I’ve been a fan since 1983, when I was 5 years old, so nobody can call me a band wagoner. I just don’t see signs that this year’s version of the team I’ve loved for most of my life, can get it together, let alone be a playoff contender. I would love nothing more than to be proven wrong, and for this year’s Jays to get the swagger of yesteryear’s team’s, and make a run at the postseason this year.

There’s obviously a lack of confidence… we have talented players but this team is in a bad place because of the obvious lack of confidence and we’re plagued with HUGE injuries with key players… I feel bad for Joey Bats nothing is working for him… hopefully they turn this around.. still gonna support the boys regardless !!!!!

why would a coach out a closer in a 1 1 game???????. he is a closer there to finish up a win, not to try and keep the game 1 1. Don;t get it and never will gibby has done that 3 times this year and lost two by doing so. Closer is a closer very simple. or at least leave him in there long enough to win. bad coaching. Batiasta awing like he wants to lose, is it becaise they let eddy go. Should be batting 8 or 9th
